The university is deeply committed to promoting sustainability as part of its core mission. This commitment is aligned with the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a global initiative that includes 17 Sustainable Development.

The university is strengthening its commitment to sustainable development through the implementation of concrete policies and actions, while placing the fight against climate change at the heart of its priorities and international strategy. In this context, the “Sustainability UCA” policy provides a structured framework guiding its initiatives in sustainability and climate action.

The institution has also established specific policies for waste, water, and energy management, along with agreements aimed at improving waste collection, sorting, and recycling on campus, and promoting the responsible use of resources. In addition, a commitment to responsible consumption encourages more sustainable practices within the university community.

The adoption of the “Carbonz” application is part of a broader effort to raise awareness and reduce the carbon footprint by actively engaging students and staff. In line with its international strategy, the university is developing partnerships and participating in global initiatives to promote innovative solutions to climate challenges and to actively contribute to worldwide sustainable development efforts.
