Inclusive Dining & Ramadan Solidarity Initiatives
Dining services at Université Cadi Ayyad prioritise inclusivity and community solidarity, especially through seasonal programmes run by the Centre for Excellence in Research and Sustainability (CEIRS-UCA) in association with university clubs. The programme provides 500 wholesome meals every day throughout Ramadan, including special “Iftar Ramadan” operations where staff and students at strategic locations like the FSJESM faculty in Marrakech receive iftar meals. Additionally, “Paniers de Ramadan” baskets, which are filled with necessities for breaking the fast, are carefully put together and delivered to vulnerable groups, such as security and cleaning staff, at different UCA establishments, such as ENSA-Marrakech, FST-Marrakech, ENS-Marrakech, ENSA-Safi, and FSSM. These initiatives demonstrate UCA’s dedication to human development and social responsibility, encouraging volunteerism and equitable access to meals.
