Inclusive Athletics: UCA’s Commitment to Adaptive Sports and Mobility
UCA promotes physical activity and inclusion through events like the “Sport sans frontières: du terrain à l’écran” day, organized with the Centre National Mohamed VI des Handicapés in Marrakech, bridging sports and digital accessibility. The university supports adaptive sports via partnerships for the 15th National Disability Forum in Salé, themed “Handisport, Levier du Développement Inclusif,” which highlights therapeutic and performance aspects of para-sports. Mobility aids, including distributions of 13 and 17 electric wheelchairs by the Marrakech Municipal Council and 143 electric bicycles via the Mohammed VI Foundation, enable greater participation in physical activities for students with motor disabilities, enhancing health and community resilience.
